Feedback Is Payback
Epitaph 86638
Released on February 26, 2002

1208 can be best described as slightly heavy, speedy, South Bay "melodi-core" melding with the contemporary "post-punk" sounds of bands like Fugazi and At The Drive In. Along with some seriously dense bass lines and the perfect amount of thumping drums, their timing, rhythm and synergy as a band is killer! Vocally their lead singer (Alex) is reminiscent of early Dexter Holland (Offspring) with a touch of Ian McKye (Fugazi), but with an attitude all of his own! Add all of that up and throw them in a blender with Fletcher Dragge (Pennywise) producing and you have the perfect equation for a balls-out, kick-ass punk rock record! I've heard the album and it basically socks you in the chest from start to finish- be on the lookout for more information, as it is available.

this is a pretty good cd! not anything new but hey its epitaph isnt it. well they sound like the offspring of the descendents and bad religion with a little pennywise thrown in. i met these guys on the warped tour and they were really nice guys. all in all an enjoyable cd. if u like 1208 than i can promise u ull like the enemies. so check them out. this is better than there newest cd.not as poppy.

The songs 1988 and Retire are by far the best. I met these guys at warped tour in San Francisco last year and they were literally the coolest guys i've ever met in my life. The CD is alright though. His voice is probably the best voice i've heard; his voice is where you can definitly tell they are from So Cal and So Cal influenced. Since Fletcher from Pennywise produced this CD i am giving it a 5 star.

first of all...stu and bob are big puds. second this cd is effing a-some. since stu and bob are british and britain hasnt produced a real man in years my theory is they enjoy each other's "company" a bit too much. this cd is great and i would recommend it to all around the world.

this cd is a bit crap. from what i'd heard of it i was expecting some kind of cross between pennywise and deviates, but the songs have to much of a pop sound and two of the songs are really shit.

This CD is F*ckin Awesome! It hasn't left my CD player for at least 2 weeks. A MUST for fans or that good ol' sing-a-long so-cal skate punk (Deviates,Pennywise,98 mute) 1208 rule!

Mmmmmm....... Not very impresssed with this. Unfortunatly another generic epitaph/fat wreck style album, bands were churning out stuff like this 10 years ago and it was better. Oh well, suppose everybody buys a shit cd every now and again.
