| Even for a locust album, this one's pretty short, but nonetheless, sweet. It does get a little redundant around the fourth or fifth track, but picks right back up with "...the wood is needed". Prime insectile cacophony. |

| ugh. this is awful and almost all of the songs sound the same. instead of wasting your money on this i would go buy their "plague soundscapes" cd or the blood brothers "burn, piano, island, burn". |

| I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that over a third of this album lies in the last track. Which is fine, because I really like the last track.
Even though I like the noise-jam-sessions that appear once or twice on the album, the other tracks seem to lack a certain something. When listening to the Locust, I need to feel like the music is kicking me in the nuts.
Well, this album just doesn't kick me the nuts. |

| This cd is great! It makes me want to get up and break shit. Although, I personally like the self titled cd better, this is worth the money. So don't be cheap and buy this! |

| this cd is excelent. i think its one of the more chaotic and synthy of the locusts album which makes it kinda unique compared to the others. i really enjoy it. im not sure if its as good as the self titled but its definitly worth it. |

| another great locust disc. not as keyboard-heavy as the self-titled...not as long either but just as good. amazing song titles too...this is a sick, twisted band and if you know what's good for you, you'll buy all their cds. after all: gluing carpet to your genitals does not make you a cantaloupe! |

| This EP is way better than their s/t full length debut. Any fans that say otherwise aren't really fans of noise and just want everything to be related to punk as much as possible so they can look themselves in the mirror with their 9" mohawks and say I'M STILL PUNK. This isn't punk. It's not nearly as hardcore influenced as their debut. And who cares about labels anyway?
As I said before, this EP is way better than their debut full length. Buy it now if you haven't already. It's great. |

| what? the locust? the most amazing band in the world with 4 stars?? well.... when i ordered this i was expecting something alot more grind... but this cd is just a little weird for my taste.... FUCK YES THEY'RE TALENTED! but i think their stuff that is more grind is better eventhough i still love their keyboards and stuff....if you wanna buy the locust i recomend that you buy their S/T cd first. THE LOCUST IS THE BEST! |

| Damn! What can I say? It's The Locust. Period. The songs are short and sweet, the keyboards get your spine all in a fucked up frenzy, and the drums, guitars, and vocals scare the shit out of me! If ya had a rough day and need a little brain food, pop this album in and your in for a deep sleep. Definitely a buy for hardcore Locust fans. Overall, it could've been better, but still worth checking out. Cheers! |
