Yep rufio are really brilliant! This is their first effort and a great one at that.... my fav song is 'in my eyes' but every song on here has the potentional to be hits... very good pop-punk and they have meanings to their songs which is something ever band should strive for... Get this is you've got '1985' (their 2nd album)

Ok, this is Rufio. With that being said, you should be all over this CD. I would personally have to say that this is Rufio's best work. Definitely worth the money. You won't be disappointed. Or at least you better not be.

9/6/2004 by Nicholas from Louisville, CO Rating:
Rufio is one amazing band, and this cd made me relize that. All the songs have cachy hooks and lyrics that make you want to praise rufio. This is defintly there best cd. It is very action packed and energetic. I salute you Rufio.

well this sounds pretty nice.. fast, anti-depressive, original.. very good :) i'm not that much of a punk-rock fan, but this one does it for me..

3/15/2004 by J from Lexington, TX Rating:
This isn't the 1st time i bought this cd. The first was about this time last year. My bass player lost it and I had always told myself that this cd was so awesome that if it ever turned up missing that I would replace it in the blink of an eye. I would recomend this cd to ANY fan of music. Its that fucking easy, if you like music at all...this cd's for you. I really havent heard another band that sounds quite like rufio, to me their sound is very oringinal and goes unmatched. If I had to stick rufio in a genre i would call them emo with fast drums and dueling metalhead guitarists and the singers voice is emo as hell and I love it. Alot of people complain about scott sellers's voice but I have always really liked it. Its not too hard to like rufio. If your into fall out boy, audio karate, coheed and cambria or the starting line(before they sold out), I would say that this cd will be pretty good for you. Also if your into a few heavier acts(not unlike myself) such as poison the well, atreyu, avenged sevenfold or thrice, your probably gonna like this cd too. It kills me b/c I hear alot people that are into rufio say that bands like early november and dashboard are so great and Im gonna to have to go the other way on that one b/c Im not into the slow emo bullshit that seems to be so popular these days, sure a few slow songs every now and then are okay but im a fast kind of guy myself and i think that its important to stick to whats important and just rock out. Almost everyone that reviews says that rufio sounds just like older new found glory and saves the day and i dont really agree with that b/c while a fan of rufio would like those two bands, they dont really have any distinguishing factors that you couldnt find in any other good punk band in the genre. I really only see one major draw back in rufio's music and this is one that has bothered me for a good while now and its that their new music on 1985 just doesnt hit the spot the way perhaps, i supose does. I think that rufio is trying not to be quite as emo and a little more hardcore but thats not all, i really cant put my finger on what the problem is but if i had to just come out and say it...1985 just isnt as good. In my opinion the new album doesnt even touch this one. That is why this album is a timeless classic and I wouldnt think twice to beat the shit out of anyone who thinks different. But what the fuck are you reading this for...buy it already!

2/21/2004 by Yunsheng from Athens, OH Rating:
"perhaps, i suppose" is a very catchy, very poppy cd. the music is quite good (some songs are extremely fast - think allister's "dead ends and girlfriends") and the guitarist plays some l33t riffs. for the first few months after i bought this release, i listened to it at least once a week. however, the vocals are rather annoying and after a while become almost unbearable. those who are seriously contemplating purchasing this cd should go for it - you won't be (too) disappointed, although i must say not to expect every song to be as good as "above me." for those who aren't sure whether or not to pick this one up, i recommend downloading the first track and opting for saves the day's "through being cool." same genre, but better lyrics and chris conley isn't nearly as whiny sounding as rufio's singer.

WOW! i just love this cd its so good! its better then the first one that's really good too! but this one's just anazing! i love the drum work and the guitars togather are so good!

11/16/2003 by David from Silver Spring, MD Rating:
I have MCMLXXV and i didnt find it as good as this cd. This CD is a lil whinny at times, but its good pop punk. The high points of this album are One Slowdance, Stop Whining and Dipshit. I listen to this from time to time, its not my first choice but when i do listen to it, it doesnt let me down. For Fans of NFG and Allister

10/26/2003 by Chris from Ottawa, ON Canada Rating:
I have to say that this is a highly over rated cd/band. Wouldn't be horrible if the singer was dead. After the first song, you just want to die. Save your money.
