Pretty good release, still not their best. This album has a lot more yelling and vocals are done by Jim and Tom. There are harder songs also, but you can almost tell what direction the band is going into with the softer songs. Overall a solid release.

Sounds Like: Early November, Foo Fighters, Digger

8/14/2006 by Ben from Leduc, AB Canada Rating:
this album jimmy eat world is beginning to change. They are just in between their punk and pop sounds. Great album, my favourate album so far from this band.

4/8/2002 by Matt from Marion, IL Rating:
As of right now I would have to say that JImmy Eat World is my favorite band, this CD (along with Clarity and the singles CD) cemented my love for this band. different from Bleed American, but all in all this is a great cd from a great band. Buy all of their Cd's now. That is an order.

Well what can I say??? Listening to this album after listening to they're latest album "Bleed American" is like listening to a completely different band! It is not bad by any means but the vocals are drastically different and the music has a little bit more of an indie emo/pop sound to it. Never the less....if you really enjoyed "Bleed American" like I did...this CD is really good and I seriously doubt you will be disapointed if you're ready to hear something a little different.
