A very solid album overall. Lars Frederiksen is kind of the "other" guy from Rancid as he came into Rancid after a few years. This album shows his background and is more 80's metal (Motorhead) than a straight up punk album. "To Have or Have Not" is a classic and is often played at Rancid shows. "Dead American" and "Skunx" are great songs as well.

2/12/2007 by Ryan from Hartland, WI Rating:
good cd not the best though. A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN RANCID more of a REAL punk sound than pop-punk.

9/16/2006 by Connor from Cary, NC Rating:
I love Rancid, so I got this. Its just as good as Rancid. Lars rocks, his life story is pretty cool, and the music is fast,in your face, fuck you stuff. Fans of the Casualties,Unseen,Fear or GBH will like it.

Standout songs are-"Dead American", "To have and have not", "Campbell California" and "Vietnam"

7/29/2006 by Diego from Tallahassee, FL Rating:
This CD kicks big time ass. It doesn't let up, Listen to this album and you'll know what punk rock it's all about. don't be a pussy and buy it, you won't regret it.

12/9/2005 by Brandon from Wildomar, CA Rating:
very good, very good. im all about the army of zombies, so i like this cd alot. basically its a harder rancid.

7/17/2005 by Jonathan from Leicestershire, United Kingdom Rating:
great cd from lars and the bastards, probably the better one of the two bastards albums but they're both amazing. Buy it if you like punk like rancid especially if you like their songs lars sings cos thats what most of these are like.

5/12/2005 by Kurt from Fayetteville, WV Rating:
Lars Frederiksen and The Bastards are a really good band. If your a fan of Rancid you should really pick this album up.

4/26/2005 by Tom from Jersey City, NJ Rating:
What can I say. It's like Rancid with a lot more ass kicking in there. It's got a nice feel to it for summer time keg-in-the-park days. Good commentary on issues, as well as life stories that are wound into some really catchy singalong tunes. Good vocal melodies without sounding soft and the music is as straight-up as you get. Nothing fancy, just killer punk rock and roll.
