The Day of the Death is upon us. Day Of The Death promises to deliver a middle finger to all those who huddle behind a musical label. Death By Stereo chews up punk, hardcore as well as metal and spits them out into 11 new volatile songs. The Day of the Death fully utilizes Death By Stereo’s love of aggregated sounds, tones, melody and superior vocal lines. The crazy brashness of classic hardcorebands is there but Death By Stereo’s delivery is a unique, powerful knockout slap-to-the head of volume and sarcastic bite that raises the bar over which allothers must leap.

Epitaph debut, 2nd full length, my least favorite. Its good dont get me wrong but the the other releases are solid compared to this one,his vocals are just off the wall on here. Buy Death for life or If looks could kill or into the valley, before this one or in that order.

5/31/2005 by Randy from Longview, TX Rating:
A hard hitting metal/punk hyrbrid CD by one of the most overhyped bands out there. Some of the riffs rock, the drummer is decent, but this band is just not my cup of tea.

11/13/2004 by Ryan from Oelwein, IA Rating:
Overall this is probably my least favorite Death CD, but it does have some of my favorite songs by them. No Shoes No Shirt No Salvation, High School Was Like Boot Camp For A Desk Job, Testosterone Makes The World Go 'Round, and Desperation Train are all fucking classics.

9/2/2004 by Liz from South Plainfeild, NJ Rating:
I just got a hold of this album, and it's really great. It's really fast and energetic and this is one of my favorite albums now, so if you have the means I suggest you buy it.

7/25/2004 by Jacob from Lancaster, NY Rating:
great effort by death by stereo...this record is one of the hardest punk albums out...DBS mixes metal and punk extemely well and DBS is no of the only bands were i can take all the screaming...i gave this is a 4 instaed of a 5 'cause with death by stereo i either love the songs or hate them...the first 6 songs are the best

3/31/2004 by Lisa from New Providence, NJ Rating:
the names brandon. this is my first death by stereo cd, and im nothing short of impressed. i got this after only hearing no shirt, no shoes, no salvation; getting it off my chest; and death for life, which i all love. then when i listened to it, songs like porno, sex, drugs, lies, money, and your local goverment and desperation train really stood out to me. some of the songs may sound like a joke, like you mess with one bean, you mess with the whole burrito (haha), but theyre very serious songs and as hardcore as it gets. buy it or die.

money can't compensate when music lacks

7/4/2003 by Matthew from Swansea, United Kingdom Rating:
This is my first Death By Stereo CD and I must say I am impressed. This CD does not fail to deliver when it comes to hardcore. None of that pansy “trendy” shite here. The stunning vocals, ranging from full blown screams to melodic harmonies, are well backed by the roaring guitars, speedy drums and "clangy (which is a good thing)" bass. Although a small amount of the lyrics are a little poor, this hardly damages my opinion of the bands talent. I'll be buying more from Death By Stereo. "DIE DIE DIE" Fuck yeah..! sXe

3/7/2003 by Brian from Sunland, CA Rating:
Death by stereo's cd day of the death is an awesome album. All the songs are cool and i cant stop listening to it. Its by far one of the best albums i got. I cant wait for their new cd coming out in April. Tracks 1, 3, 6, 8, and 9 are the best ones

3/1/2003 by Bradley from Aiken, SC Rating:
Oh My GOD!! This shit rocks major shit! Hot damn this is an awesome cd!!! Better than ILCKIWWYD(their last cd. I can't type that much shit) The best epitaph cd I've heard in a while. I personally love hardcore and metalcore so that was a plus for me because it's not only the punk rock greatness we all love but it's got A LOT of hardcore elements. If you've never heard them, and don't like hardcore get it anyway becuase its really cool. And if you like harcore too buy it also! A+++++++ for godliness! The Death Owns Your ASS!

2/26/2003 by Susan from Collegeville, PA Rating:
These guys are awesome. I especially like the guys voice when he sings. These guys combine ounk and hardcire perfectly. My favorite songs are "You Mess With One Bean, You Mess With the Whole Burrito" and "Porno, Sex, Drugs, Lies, Money, and Your Local Government".
