| I bought this because I haven't really listened to any hardcore bands for a few years now, so I thought I'd try it out. This comp is alright but I lost interest in it pretty quick. If you're into hardcore than I'd say pick this up, it'd be worth it, but I'm just not the biggest fan. |

| Where else can you get a killer CD and a nice shirt for around $15. In all honesty the CD is worth it and the shirt was just a great added bonus with the preorder. This is one of few comps I can actually listen to almost all the way through (I have to skip the really bad Kottonmouth Kings styled cheesyness of The Subhoodz. What the fuck were they thinking!). This CD has it all from heartfelt hardcore to old school to "thugcore" to an acoustic number to the white boy rap I mentioned above and more. Its got excellent bands like Modern Life Is War-Blacklisted-Deathkiller and Ignite. Im not about to list all the good tracks on this CD cause out of 27 songs theres about 13 that really stand out and the rest is at least listenable (Once again...Except for The Subhoodz who seem to really miss Crazy Town). Really though...The Subhoodz song is good for a laugh. I can just imagine the assholes posing with bongs in pictures and wearing "wife beaters". The acoutic song by Walter Schreifels seems out of place too. By far one of the best comps I have ever heard. I sure as Hell hope this becomes a series |
