Recon - Graves
From Albany, New York RECON delievers seven songs of sing alongs and breakdowns on there debut cd/ep release, GRAVES. With lyrics on trust, friendship and betrayal this record is anything but a let down for anyone into tough guy hardcore.
For fans of Hatebreed, 100 Demons and First Blood

i got into these guys not but recently with the release of "Welcome To Viper City" via Rise Records and was immediately blown away by the heaviness (what with comparisons ranging from The Acacia Strain and On Broken Wings, one would not be surprised.) with that, i immediately looked into purchasing their debut EP, "Graves" especially finding interest in it due to the song "Thirteen" originally being released on this recording. i honestly prefer their more recent full-length, especially in the production qualities, more but this is still good if you like heavy breakdown-laden hardcore with a hint of metal influence.

if did low tuned bands like Acacia Strain and Emmure. You will dig the hell out of Recon. The cd gives you beating from start to finish. Thirteen is the track is prime example of what this band can do. Very good cd and worth the money. Can't wait for the Full Lenght cd.
