Michael Jordan Touchdown Pass - Cash, Money, Etc.
Biting sarcasm with a poetic cry for escape is combined with catchy as fuck pop songs to bring you cash, money, etc. An album that will help you drop out or at least help you realize how stupid everything around you really is.
Imagine if the weakerthans, built to spill and bright eyes all dropped out of highschool, went to a southeren Vermont wingnut party and woke up with a hangover and an 11 track recording the next day and you'd have a good idea of what to expect from MJTDP.

I heard this kid after listening to Johnny Hobo and the Wingnut Dishwashers Union. This is a great CD for when your driving or just hanging out and smoking with friends. Definately a must buy if you're into DIY and folk punk.

This Cd is alright. It kinda sounds like Bright Eyes mixed with The Weakerthans. I don't really dig it too much.

This album is fucking great. Every track is amazing, except the last song, its a very bizarre techno thing that i usually skip. but all the other songs are odd folk which is refreshing and relaxing. Its a great walking cd, I listen to this cd while I walk to work every day. Also it'll make you want a cigarette and be happy you smoke. The Lyrics are unique and really hit home if your a broke kid who just needs a cigarette. I strongly suggest picking this up. Give the cd a chance and also go get wingnut dishwashers union cd's. Support the wingnuts, they have a good thing going.

I heard the artist is still in his teens and recorded every instrument. If this is true than it is worth buying for that. This record isn't horrible, it just didn't catch my attention. Track 6, Ill-planned and feeling Ill, is an amazing song though. That is the only song I continue to listen to.
