Matadors - Horrorbilly 9000
Matadors

Horrorbilly 9000

Stereo Dynamite Recordings 2

Released on May 16, 2006

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

If Hell had a house band that channeled the punk aggression of the Misfits, the theatrics of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins (or Iron Maiden for that matter) and a steroid-fed, whiskey-fueled, rockabilly sound not unlike the Reverend Horton Heat, then that band just might be London Ontario’s The Matadors!

Badass CD. A must have for everyone. If you love Creepshow or the Gutter Demons, you will definietely love this one!~ their best release in my opinion.~

3/19/2007 by Taylor from Sandy, UT Rating:
Buy this CD bub!! These canadians can jam. Songs about booze and zombie sluts, it just can't be bad.

3/5/2007 by Richard from Fredericksburg, VA Rating:
damm good album! i think this is one of the best psychobilly bands to come out in a long time and it proves once and for all that canadians can rock! course if you're a fan of DOA then you already know this. get this album or you'll regret it!

10/22/2006 by Mike from Ajax, ON Canada Rating:
Wow what an amazing album. I've had it only for a couple weeks and its already one of my favourite albums ever. I bought horrorbilly 9000 after seeing their insane live show and it definately didn't disappoint. I suggest the next time the Matadors play anywhere near you you get your ass to that show because they'll blow you away. I can't listen to this C.D without listening to it all the way through because every song is so great that i couldn't even pick a favourite. Get this.

10/5/2006 by Shane from Fremont, CA Rating:
Wow, I would say I was surprised at how good this CD is. The scene in Canada must fucking rule, this is the third psycho band from Canada I have picked up and it doesn't disappoint. A little Misfits, Koffin Kats like....anyway....get this CD and any other Matadors CD. They wreck shit.

8/25/2006 by Jonathan from Charlotte, NC Rating:
Johnny Degenerate, Charlotte, NC United States

From the opening chants of "Matadors" on Rock n Roll Freakshow to the last shot of 9 Shots of Bourbon, this album doesn't disappoint. Two of my favorite tracks, Black Widow and Teenage Zombie Sluts, come at you back to back giving the listener little time to recover from the last Luciferian onslaught. Truly putting the devil back in the devil's music!

8/10/2006 by Greg from Fall River, MA Rating:
this band is not bad. the one song i really liked was teenage zombie sluts. everything else was decent but not great
