| Well I picked up Attracted to Miss and Valencia cds a few months ago and had been meaning to grab this one too as this is Shane's side project of Valencia (ATM was his first band). Yeah this is all acoustic stuff and I had heard a few songs before I got it so I knew what I was getting into and I have played it a lot, it is easy to listen to and not whiney and poorly written like some trash that got popular. Anyhow I'm throwing this album four stars. The price was right too. A full album for the price of a EP generally.
I don't have a lot more to write about it, but it is enjoyable. The only thing that was a bit disapointing is the fact that the song 'Seems like Yesterday' was on the Attracted to Miss album and it is the same exact version. It woulda have been nice to hear a new take on it for this album. |
