Enola Grey churns out a fierce brand of dirty, heavy, and squeeling American metal grounded in areas of metalcore, grind, death metal, and more ambient forms of heavy music. Chris, having spent years drumming for the renowned Minneapolis death metal act Malignant prior to his short stint in Martyr AD, brings a lot to the table with his years of experience as the backbone for the dangerously fast and brutal Malignant. In addition, Andy Keith, an experienced guitarist, was a key member in Dead Droid Records' Affinity for years. By combining Andy's songwriting contributions and eclectic tastes with Bill Horbul's composition and shredding, Enola Grey produces a highly outstanding guitar driven foundation for all their songs backed by Pat Morris also currently of Demonicon, on bass. And last, but not least, at the forefront of the mayhem is Mike Fisketti. Having evolved perfectly from his days as the young, growling frontman for Martyr AD, Mike spits and squeals his highs in between passages of post-death lows without ever overdoing it. Heavier than Disembodied, more metal than Pantera, dingier than The Blinding Light, Enola Grey doesn't just embody American Metal, Enola Grey is American Metal. Catchy, but not too melodic, heavy but unique, dead but alive, Enola Grey will rule your stereo with an iron fist.

5/11/2005 by Chris from Bountiful, UT Rating:
I know this band is made up of former members of Martyr ad and others . The Songs sound like Martyrs "Human Condition in Twelve Fractions" But Much better, if you're into heavy ass music like that and the former bands that these dudes have rocked in then pick it up, although not a huge fan of Martyr or Disembodied and every other band this band is made up of I like EG the best, I hope they get a label with good distribution cos this shit is fucking heavy and puts their past bands to shame.
