"It's JiF Peanut butter backwards....dont ask" responded bassist Nick Hesson of FiJ. With the weird, but oddly catchy band name, FiJ has taken a giant leap forward in expanind their musical talent, and puttng on one eye catching show!
Driven by unparalleled seal-tight beats, poppy melodic bass lines, loud pressed dynamic guitars, and eccentric vocals. FiJ's new album is by far uncomparable to their previous releases, and is continuing to dwell further into the hearts and souls of these 3 musicians.
The Birth of Gone from Frame came from the basement of Echo Base Studio with producer Casey Lewis of the failure. After over 200 hours in the studio, 25 days of studio time, and endless mixing, FiJ had created their first fully produced album. Released Febuary 18th, and now available on InterPunk, FiJ will be touring Canada early 2006. Filled with melodic bass hooks, and catchy chorus's that are captured with uniqe harmonies.
