"Like A Moth Before A Flame" is the debut EP from The Snake The Cross The Crown. Produced by Angus Cooke (The Ataris, Mock Orange, Lagwagon). Six songs in all that are powerful, intricate and intriguing which come together for a completely original sound that is melodic and heartfelt all in one beautiful fusion. A must have for fans of Elliot and The Gloria Record.

This could be one of the best albums that I ave ever heard. It took me a while to find this CD being that they don't have at many places. But trust me it was well worth the wait. This is a must buy for any music fan. Even if you don't like the snake the cross the crown's newer albums you will like this one.

I got Mander Salis first and wasn't expecting much from this CD. I only heard the song "The Contortionist" and somehow liked it. So I gave it a chance and ... damn these guys are (or better: were) good. The songs are all kinda long (I think 4 minutes and up) but simply beautiful. No comparisons to Mander Salis, which sounds more folk or whatever.
If you like indie/emo you need to check these guys out.

This is one of the best cd's I have ever heard.
The small 45 second sound bite does no justice to their brilliance. With some of the best lyrics and melodies you will ever hear, they will no doubt get stuck in your head for weeks. This cd flows wonderfully with the exception of moneymaker (it's still a good song) but it just doesn't seem to fit well.
This cd is so far from mander salis (I'm not sure why they tried to sound british on that cd) It carries an entirely different style that is much more upbeat.
This cd will no doubt become a classic.

Wow why am i the only one to review this cd. This cd is so fucking incredible. Im listening to it right now. People might not want to get this just because its an EP but this cd is the perfect length. It doesnt drag out. the greatest emo, indie-rock cd i've heard in a long time.
