Not what i was really expecting but it was still pretty good. I'll probably have to listen to it a few more times to really appreciate it but it's ok. It's a little too jazzy for me and the songs can get a little long, but eh its better than alot of stuff out there so watever. They're all amazing at their instruments, I'll give em that though.

if you like the slackers, new york ska jazz ensemble, tokyo ska paradise orchestra, general rudie, hepcat or any other trad. ska bands, pick this up. david hillyard is the saxamaphonist for the slackers and he and these boys do not disapoint. mainly instrumental songs, its a good listen and great for relaxing.

Kinda left me disappointed. I feel Playtime was better. I think some of the songs went on too long and ruined it.

This is classic "Disco Dave" stuff right here. As good, if not better than his first Rocksteady 7 album. No words are needed to convey the mood that is set with each song on this record and it's classic sounding instrumentals. Awesome!

This album is okay... it is nothing caompared to the Slackers. I also did not think it was half as good as their album "Playtime".

Dave Hillyard is the freakin man. Vic Ruggerio is the freakin man. buying this record will not make you the freakin man, but atleast you'll have some high quality music to listen to. by the way, the new rendition of "Old Days" and the Bob Marley cover ('Duppy Conqueror') are my favs on this record. oh yeah, go buy all of the Slackers records too.

What a great disc. This band plays music that you can just relax and chill to. This is also perfect music to lay down with your lady to. A great follow-up to 'Playtime'. Just in case you didn't know, this CD is all instrumental except for one song, so if you need lyrics stay away. I say get this and enjoy the skill of the guys that made this great album. If you like this check out The Slackers and Hepcat. All the songs are good, can't really single one out. Later, hope this helped.
