Well... this is one of those cds where you listen to the first 2-4 songs and it sounds like its about to be spectacular then it just kind of fizzles out. It's better as background music for being on the computer as opposed to music that you listen to when doing nothing else, because when I tried doing that it got boring. It's definately different from all the other "screamo" bands of today... but, I'm not really into screamo so the cd is a bit unappealing.

12/7/2004 by Matt from Brooklin, ON Canada Rating:
this album is amazing to say the least. thedecember drive is one of the greatest bands ever, in my opinion. this cd shows a disgusting diplay of greatness in epic proportions. every song is completely different from the last. the lyrical content will blow anyone's mind, and the music is ridiculously well-crafted. hard screaming, behind perfect harmonies and crazy guitar licks. smart and unforgettable, but most of all... beautiful. just beautiful.

10/10/2004 by Eammon from West Yellowstone, MT Rating:
I really enjoy this cd; it has an immense amount of variety and is filled with passion. Depending on my mood at the time of listening, I often find myself skipping around a bit. Some of the tracks are uplifting, while some are depressing. This band really knows how to close their mouths and let an instrumental melody ride as well. Reminiscent (at different times) of bands like Yaphet Kotto and Ever We Fall. Pick it up.

8/29/2004 by Chanyn from Kingsville, TX Rating:
Pretty awesome band, I heard of them from my friend Omar, who knows some pretty decent music. I think it's a rather beautiful disc, there's a lot of emotion in the vocals and lyrics that can pretty much be applied to anything that you are going though in your life at the moment. Some really awesome songs are The Buffalo Wing Diplomacy, Enough and 1426.

7/27/2004 by Jack from Marcellus, NY Rating:
It's ok, songs 2 and 6 are good, but the rest is sort of boring and gives me a head acke, i got it at the same time as Armor for Sleep, and this is better, Get it if you like Armor for Sleep or regular emo bands.

5/27/2004 by Grant from Smyrna, TN Rating:
this is a great record. this is really great emocore music. i enjoy it thoroughly. couldn't stop listening to it upon its arrival in my cd player. recommend to anyone who is into emo.

4/16/2004 by John from Carmel, IN Rating:
an incredibly artful mix of hard and soft. this band has a knack for knowing when to be smooth, and when to throw respect for traditional song-styles to the wind. it's a damn masterpiece. i'd love to compare it to other bands I like - that hopefully you also like - so you buy this....but there aren't any good choices to compare this to. It's unique. but amazing.

2/9/2004 by Leonila from Clifton, NJ Rating:
ladies and gents...this is what emocore is supposed to be. the potluck of style in this record gives the band so much substance. mid-paced and cathartic. honestly, more bands should head in this direction. forget the whole insincere misplaced screams over mediocre poppunk voices. this is music at its finest. not convinced? thursday + radiohead + fugazi = december drive.

like them? try outsmarting simon, armor for sleep

1/13/2004 by Mark from Covington, VA Rating:
this cd is exactly what you'd expect from a band that spends 3 years working on an album. every song on this cd is simply amazing. calling them "emo" wouldn't do justice because they don't deserve any labels. i'm not the biggest fan of screaming, but these guys know how to do it very well. basically, it doesn't sound fake or anything. the guitar parts can be very light one second and then the next they are real heavy. i honestly don't know why you wouldn't want to check this out if you're a fan of any kind of "emo" band. this is easily one of my favorite albums of 2003.

it's a beautiful cd. it's that simple.

12/22/2003 by Joaquin from Bayamon, PR Rating:
This cd is much more than what I expected it to be. Melodic post-hardcore(emo of the really good kind) at it's best. It's amazing in every aspect be it vocals, guitars, bass or drums. It's also an enhanced cd so that's a plus.
