Split MCD between two Finnish sludge bands. Fleshpress punishes you with one nine minute long epic song while Bud Junkees delivers three slow to mid tempo sludge hardcore. "Sludge at it´s best from Finland. Fleshpress are really on the Top with their way to do the Sludge. Ok, this is just one song they deliver, but it´s looooooooong, slow and hard and all you Burning Witch and Weedeater fans out there will have fun with this release for sure. BudJunkees are more like BeatenBackToPure mixed with old Venom, cool stuff and I´m looking forward to their first long-player, cause it will be killer for sure. All together this release is heaven for every Sludge fan. I highly recommend this CD."

| Fleshpress is one of the very best of the Doom/Sludge bands in all the world, their song on this split cd "Spiral Filter" is worth the price of the cd alone. The bud junkees tracks kind of suck and are corny, but like i said, if you're into doom with a psychedelic edge, check this one out for the Fleshpress song, this cd is out of print and interpunk only wants $6 for it, so jump on it. |
