Sounds kind of like a combo of 50's rock and the Misfits. Throw in some Rancid "Out come the Wolves" and maybe a little Green Day. There is also some country in there too. I give it 3 and 1/2 stars. Cool singing voice on the singer. I wish we had more bands like this in the states.

I've had this cd for a while, and I'm finally getting around to reviewing it. I still listen to it quite a bit. One of the best things to come out of Germany since the Great One many years ago. They have a pop punk sound, but it's unique. Not just a copy of what 1000's of other bands have done. There's an awesome Misfits cover song which is interesting to hear in the Backwood's style. My only complaint concerns their choice of punk handles. Heini Heartbreaker? Tough Timo? Nilz Nonchalant? Tommy Toilet? Leif Let's Go? Terrible!

This is an amazing release from Germanys pop/punk rock n roll kings, The Backwood Creatures. Possibly one of the best bands on the Stardumb Records roster, the BC's Living Lengends is a soild punk rock masterpeice. The sound is has a classic rock n roll vibe, rich and warm just like those old Beatles, Elivis and Rolling Stones records in your attic. Catchy as hell, great guitars and vocals, an all around Classic. Buy NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I think this band should consider renegotiating their contract with Stardom Records and just go straight to Columbia or Atlantic Records. Ummm, nevermind, I think the Groovie Ghoulies and the Peawees are better bands to share a label with than the Donnas! Point is, this CD is rad and you really should buy it today before these guys go platnum!
