Loud and obnoxious punk rock. These guys tear it up while explaining the trials and tribulations of being oppressed by the man, cops, hard to find liquor stores and weak buds. After more than 10 years together, Retox exploded their brand of "in yer face musical assault" and it's all captured here on CD for your listening pleasures. Being from the North Bay of Killafornia, musical inspiration is taken from so many of the great punk bands that came before them... mostly being the infamous RKL (Rich Kids on LSD). Though RKL was from Santa Barbara, they used San Fransisco as a stomping ground and set the tone for Retox.

| There's absolutely no way one can ignore the heavy RKL influence going on here. If records could have little brothers, than Retox's Last Call would play younger sibling to RKL's Rock 'N Roll Nightmare. These guys play like it's still 1986. Like the bulk of Malt Soda releases, this is full throttle killer stuff. So what are ya waitin' for? BUY IT! |
