Seems like everyone likes this CD very much. I agree completely, but I think Chorus of One is their best CD(and the best intrduction to the band). This EP is great political, melodic hardcore punk. The CD is certainly not as varied as Exit English, but they did throw in some acoustic guitar in one of the songs! It would be a good decision to buy this CD.

11/9/2004 by Vincent from Charlesbourg, PQ Canada Rating:
This is the CD that got me into Strike Anywhere. It's good, but not at much as their latest efforts. It's short but powerful though. It's original and blood pumping if you like socio-polical lyrics. Their later work is more refined though, this is very raw. If you have their other albums you might be interested in this EP, but if you don't know them maybe you should check out their full lengths.

7/29/2004 by Luke from Westmont, NJ Rating:
Not the best Strike Anywhere CD, probably the worst. Some good lyrics, but the music itself isn't very varied. The whole CD is the same "hard-core" beat. This only only for true Strike Anywhere fans, but not something to get to introduce yourself to them. I reccomend "Chorus of One" or "Exit English" a lot more. This band still rocks though.

5/24/2004 by Danny from Edmonton, AB Canada Rating:
This album is Punk Rock. Simple Punk Rock. Good Punk Rock. This Punk Rock is seperated from almost every other band in the "Old School" hardcore scene because they have so much heart that even if you took away most of they would still have more than enough for everyone who desereved it i would stronly recomend this incredible debut as well as the two Strike Anywhere full-lenghts to fans of:Rise Against, From Ashes Rise, Strung Out, Bad Religion and more great heartfelt music everywhere. Cheers.

Absolutely top notch stuff! Strike anywhere are most definitely at the very forefront of the social/political punk bands....This release has it all, power, speed, melody, harmony, intense, thought provoking lyrics....if you like your punk to come with a message...look no further....this albeit only six tracks, is one of the releases that truly deserve the description 'ESSENTIAL'..Buy it now, it won't dissapoint...destined to go down in punk history as a band with legendary status....Five stars musically but many more stars LYRICALLY....inspirational....

1/23/2004 by Jason from Saskatoon, SK Canada Rating:
I bought this CD last summer and am just getting to the review now, so I obviously gave it a few listens. I'm sure everyone's heard of Strike Anywhere so you've already heard all the reviews. If you like political melodic - hardcore such as Good Riddance or Rise Against, I'm sure you'll like these guys. "Notes On Pulling The Sky Down" is worth the cost alone.

11/19/2003 by Justin from Punxsutawney, PA Rating:
Wow ... this disc is amazing... the first time I heard this I thought I was dreaming... their sound is soo fresh and clean clean... Strike Anywhere fans look to the past and buy this and listen to it....then repeat...then check them out live... and then thank me

9/24/2003 by Matthew from Jersey Shore, PA Rating:
Wow. This is so great! This is one of the best ep's ever! The songs are hard and powerful, and the lyrics are inspiring. I've definently got to get more by this band. I swear that this band and The Explosion are the two best underground punk bands of this time.

9/8/2003 by Debbi from Sandy, UT Rating:
What can i say? Strike Anywhere is probably the best 'political' punk/hardcore band out there today. All the songs are really good, but my favorite are Earthbound and Cassandratic Equation. The intro was cool too, I'm pretty sure that's Martin Luther King Jr. talking, but i'm not 100% sure. Just get it, along with the other two. (When Exit English comes out, of course)

8/7/2003 by Kenny from Portland, OR Rating:
IT'S STRIKE ANYWHERE WHAT CAN I SAY. THIER COMING TO PORTLAND WITH THE BOUNCING SOULS AND THAT WILL BE A KILLER SHOW! GET THIS ALBUM. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND IT ANYWHERE BUT INTERPUNK. THIS CD IS GREAT! THE BEST SONGS ARE TRACKS 1-6.
