Grandprixx

In Your Room

(featuring members of the Prozacs)

Out of Step 100

Released on July 7, 2000

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Combining the speed and attitude of 80's punk rock (The Descendents, Adrenolin OD) with the poppyness of modern day bands like Screeching Weasel and The Queers, THE GRANDPRIXX come ready to Rock! After a few 7"s, a CD EP, and countless compilation appearances, THE GRANDPRIXX truely deliver with their new 7"on OUT OF STEP RECORDS. Recorded at Sonic Iguana Studios (the studio responsible for many great Screeching Weasel, Squirtgun, etc records) in Lafayette, Indiana with Fergus Daily (production credits include the Teen Idols, Groovie Ghoulies) twisting the knobs, it is their best release yet! Past releases have recieved rave reviews everywhere from Maximum Rock n' Roll to Ride BMX Magazine. Hailing from sleepy western massachusettes, a land notorious for hardcore, the GRANDPRIXX infectious blend of speed and melody has won them countless fans. The boys take their wild show on the road every year and tour across much of the US. Everyone from leather jacket clad pop punkers to bandana wearing thrashers get caught up in the wild circle pits that THE GRANDPRIXX seem to inspire everywhere they play. Countless appearances all over the northeast include shows with the Queers, Casualties, US Bombs, Groovie Ghoulies, etc. THE GRANDPRIXX "In Your Room" 7" on OUT OF STEP RECORDS is their most anticipated release yet; don’t miss your chance to pick up this limited to 1000 records! With four kick-ass songs ranging from Girls to Aliens and everything in between one can’t help but pogo-dance across the room! Be sure to check it out before it’s gone.

It took me way to long get a copy of this fuckin' record. I even ordered it once before and was told they couldn't get it. It's the only PRIXX record i don't have. (well...i have the tour edition copy...and not on GREEN) Funny when it's this hard to get a record of your own band! Oh yeah....the record is my 2nd least favorite...because i know the demo versions of the tunes were much better..although ALIENS remains one of the top 5 songs we ever wrote. - J Prozac

I really liked this 7", it has some great songs. If you like Pogo Punk, Pop Punk and Skater Punk, you should get this.
