This digitally re-mastered version of "Against The Grain" comes with new art and finally allows you to hear this album the way it was meant to be heard! "Against The Grain" is screechingly released hot on the heels of the previous years punk hit `No Control' which sold so many copies, why not keep the formula untouched? The exuberance of this release is kinda tuff ta' blow off. Contains the superior original version of ൝st Century Digital Boy" plus 16 more crucial cuts. A barrage of melodic, hyper-overdrive.

This was always my favorite of the BR albums. Personally, now that I'm older, the lyrics to me are a bit pedantic and trite. But the music's what matters! It's been a few years since I have heard this, and I can still sing along. Highly Recommended to all of you newcomers if you want to hear some classic skate-punk!

2/27/2006 by Micheal from Aberdeen, SD Rating:
Classic Bad Religion. Easily one of the best. Really a must have. Get this if you don't already have it.

6/4/2005 by Roger from Charlotte Hall, MD Rating:
Well, what should I say about this album? Actually, nothing. If you're looking to buy this cd then you probably know about Bad Religion(who doesn't these days?). You should get all of their albums, or at least just get this, along with Suffer, Generator, and The Empire Strikes First.

3/8/2005 by Benjamin from Boston, MA Rating:
Despite the extreme resemblance this record bears to "No Control", there are some subtle differences to keep it interesting. For one, the tracks are substantially longer, though still very fast; only one track manages to stay under a minute, while some exceed three. In addition, there is more of an activist edge to the lyrics this time around, and much of the subject matter is still hauntingly relevant 15 years later. The recording quality is slightly improved from "No Control", but it makes a big difference. This might just be the best record Bad Religion ever made.

2/23/2005 by James from Stevensville, MI Rating:
Suffer, No Control, and Against The Grain are what I consider the greatest of Bad Religion's recordings. I can't find anything wrong with this CD. It's a classic. Every song rocks out, EVERY song. Like the other two records mentioned above, this record just flows...you never want to skip a track. Buy this, NOW.

12/20/2004 by Josh from Lincoln Park, MI Rating:
Bad Religion is an amazing band, and every song and album is amazing. this is no exception, it is amazing. if you like Bad Religion then this is a keeper.

7/10/2004 by Matthew from Jersey Shore, PA Rating:
Excellent Bad Religion album! Sounds even better now that its remastered. This is every bit as good as "Suffer" and new ones like "Process of Belief". Also, Keith Morris from Circle Jerks sings backup on "Operation Rescue"!
