130+ minute feature comprising 17 bands, 26 full songs and 16 band interviews. 10 additional bands (one song each), motion menus, trailer, photos, and chapter selections totalling over 3 hours of footage.

The 5th annual “New England Metal & Hardcore Festival” (NEMF) took place in Worcester, MA in May of 2003 with heavy music’s biggest and brightest. Trustkill captured it on film for those who weren’t there, and for those who were. This is the nation’s leading heavy music festival drawing crowds of 5000 people every year at The Palladium.

In 2003 not only did the kids have a great time, but it drew huge media attention as well, from MTV to FUSE and other large outlets. MTV ran a special edition of “Headbangers Ball” filmed on location at NEMF (with Rob Zombie as host), and FUSE filmed interviews and live footage and ran 30 minute segments for the duration of the summer showcasing all the bands.

This festival was a huge deal as it was a combination of the best in the business, raw energy from the crowd, and a great vibe all around. If anyone is looking for the paradigm heavy music DVD, this is their arsenal. These are the bands that are making waves today. Watch this DVD, feel the music, listen to the bands talk, hear the message, get into it...

This is a great dvd for all hardcore fans out there. there are awesome performances by NORA,KILLSWITCH ENGAGE,UNEARTH is amazing, BLEEDING THROUGH, SHAI HULAD , BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED, and of course ATREYU is unbelievable. Those were the bands that stood out to me. If you are a eighteen visions fan then I am sorry for you cause they stunk it up on this dvd along with nevermore. There are not that many bad performances and it is a awesome DVD to check out.

better songs than hellfest. i was kinda disappointed that atreyu played lipgloss & black so shitty! something for everyone that likes metal, hardcore, metalcore and heavy metal. nevermore suck though. the best are killswitch engage, shadows fall, darkest hour, bleeding through, atreyu (kinda). take a chance and buy it!

"This next song is about...darkness, and fixating on it!FIXATION ON THE DARKNESSSS!"---Adam From Killswitch Engage

This dvd is a great way to experience the fest without having to be there. The 5.1 Dolby Surround pumped through my speakers and my friends had a mosh pit in my living room. The highlights of this dvd would have to be killswitch, bleeding through, nora, converge, atreyu and definitely lamb of god.The wall of death kicked ass and i will be takin part in one at ozzfest in 6 days baby.Buy this dvd and crank up the volume!

I was expecting something really good. This sucks ass. last time i checked if you ask someone one question, that is not an interview. Crap special features. Overall I wouldnt recommend this to anyone. And everything that guy below said is right to.

7/6/2004 by Dylan from Bessemer, MI Rating:
This DVD pissed me right the fuck off(and not in a good way). The whole first half of this DVD is complete and utter crap, the second half is pretty good thanks to Atreyu, Bleeding Through and Eighteen Visions. Converge sounds like they have a dog barking for their lead singer and Shai Hulud was a let down. If Trustkill or whoever else was behind this DVD and festival, please exclude all these Scandinavian Shit Metal bands from next years line up and add some more hardcore bands. The best part of this whole DVD is the HIMSA song on the extra footage.

Note: The metalhead kid in the Friday Outro part makes want to set other metalhead kids on fire. Those fuckers are the reason i never go to metal shows or festivals that have metal bands at them. Fucking Wankers *shudders*

This is seriously the BEST DVD I have ever seen. It has like 4 hours of footage. The recording is great as is the sound quality. It has a perfect blend of Hardcore and Metal. And features bands such as Atreyu, Himsa, Bleeding Trough, 18 Visions, Caliban, and On Broken Wings. Awesome DVD.
