Well, there is a lot of "horror" content here, but not a lot of good "punk". With bands like The Other, Blitzkid, Crimson Ghosts, Dr. Chud's X-Ward, The Spook, and Mister Monster you can't help but think that if someone had took away their Graves-era Misfits cd's and replaced em with Walk Among Us, Dance With Me and Sleep in Safety, they might actually be good. But as it is, they are not. All the European bands have too much of a heavy guitar sound and redundantly boring verse, chorus, verse songs. The American bands are little better. Stuff like Blitzkid, Independents and Mister Monster are just plain awful. The good would be Killcreeps, Noctunes, Mad Sin and of course Ghoultown.

5 stars. Nothing to be surprised about with bands like Mad Sin, Balzac, and Nekromantix. I give much thanks to the Misfits, because this type of music wouldn't exist without them.
