| This cd lacks energy, heart and fuckin' pride. Sing Sing Death house would be my pick at The Distiller albums. |

| Blech. I was very much looking forward to this record after hearing the Distillers' first two records. Both were superb ponk rawk classics. This record? It sounds completely uninspired. The production doesn't work (too slick and sterile) and musically, the record just wanders. Brody is trying to grow as an artist...perhaps a little too hard. Patti Smith she is not. The cover art is appropriate because this record will drain you. Bland. |

| Ahh, the Distillers, hard to say what anyone thinks of them these days. I guess they're becoming the next big thing in the style of music Mtv needs to exploit. I like this cd, I liked the other two more, this sounds a bit over produced, but I still like the music. If you kids out there can, look past the major label and forget about popularity, this is a quality album and well worth my money. If you want punker stuff though try either of the other two full lengths. P.S. To Brody-Call me |

| I got kinda disappointed when i first heard this CD, cause their earlier stuff is way better than this. This CD is more melodic and grunge, than it is punk. but after a while the CD grew on me and now it's Pretty good... A good advice: buy one of the 2 earlier Distillers CD's. |

| This cd shows Distillers as true musicians. Yes, they still have those fast punk-rock songs, but they also have those "look at us, we can play music" songs. This LP also shows Brody is an amazing singer that can stretch her voice to all different levels. Songs like "Coral Fang", "Hall Of Mirrors", "Dismantle Me" and "The Hunger" are the best on this album.
Buy it! |

| Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... is the one word that comes in mind when i hear this album. well its mediocre. Brody still has her edginess yet with the loss of casper the band doesn't seem to be as hard as they used to. I don't know i doubt its the record label shit but this album lacks something that sing sing death house and their first album had. Mediocre ok whatever.
IF YOU BURN CD'S YOU CAN EAT SHIT!!! Support good music and buy cd's. thanx |

| This is the worst cd that the distillers have produced. It isn't catchy and just runs together. Mabey the switch to a major label has killed the band. Something happened. If your going to buy a Distillers cd buy sing sing death house. Just disregard this cd. Not worth the money. |

| Not as raw as their other two albums, but still definitely worth every penny. I'm only giving 4 stars because you can definitely hear the producers polish on this album. So, all in all, I'm not blaming or dissing the Distillers for anything, they're still kick ass and if you get the chance to see them live, it's a must!! but I hope either they get a new producer in the future or self produce. Those of us who know fully understand that blink-182 and good charlotte are NOT punk. *power pop bubble gum wannabes* but brody and the boys, now you've got what we're looking for!! so buy it already!!!! |

| It seems Brodie and crew decided to tone down the rock slightly on their major label debut. Although it's not too surprising, The Distillers manage to still rock. Each song is an anthem, especially "Dismantle Me" and "Drain the Blood". The Distillers come with enough hooks to keep the magazines begging them for interviews and enough punk rock to keep the kids happy. |
