This album is a little more hard-core than some of their later albums. Still a great album. If you like Ska-Core music, I'd recommend it. My favorite album of all time is their "Lets face it" album. I don't think interpunk has it at this time, but hopefully will sooner or later, as they expand. I would rate this a 4.5, but that rounds up to 5.

If you really want to know what the Bosstones sounded like when they were starting out, here's your answer. Not a whole lot different from what they do now, or even what other ska/punk bands have been doing since. The whole thing goes by pretty quickly, and doesn't leave a very big impression. Only get it if you simply need to have all the Bosstones' albums. Be warned that this CD contains a prototype of a song that would later appear as "Dogs and Chaplains" on their album Question The Answers.

Do Do Do Da Da Da. Devil's Night Out was the first Bosstones album (i think) and it is one of the best. Short and to the point, it rocks hard, skanks hard, and does everything else hard.

ok people i only have two bosstones cds this one and lets face it. lets face it is a lot better then this cd. this cd is more on the skunk side and lets face it is more just ska. i geuss it depends on what you like me i like more ska then skunk so i like lets face it better, but this dosnt mean that this is a bad cd. i would say overall its just OK. most of the lyrics you cant hear but that dosnt bother me that much. but if you want to buy a bosstones cd i would go with lets face it, if you like more of the straight ska. but if you like skunk you might want to go with this cd...........
