The most Hardcore album I own, its fast, politically charged, and just over all a classic, I definitely recommend this album for any 80's hardcore enthusiast.

3/23/2007 by Ed from Aurora, ON Canada Rating:
i wish jerry's kids had more music like this. after this came kill kill kill, and it was nothing like this cd. its loud, its fast and it grabs you by the balls. i love this album. after i heard them on the, "this is boston not la" comp i had to have more. any hardcore fan should check these guys out. damn shame they don't have any more like this one.

3/16/2007 by Justin from Hanover, PA Rating:
I bought this CD without hearing anything by them before, and I'm glad I did. These guys fucking rock! Fast, loud, angry hardcore. My favorite band from Boston. Buy this now!

8/10/2006 by Trevor from Tucson, AZ Rating:
It makes me fucking sick when I see or hear people calling the Exploited and GBH hardcore punk. Fuck them and Fuck the UK. This is fucking straight up hardcore punk. Also buy Gang Green's album Preschool.

7/3/2006 by Aaron from Lithopolis, OH Rating:
real fucking hardcore PUNK! not just what these people nowadays consider hardcore...like i read some asshole compare screeching weasel to senses fail and finch!?! anyways this isnt screamo, metalcore, grindcore or whatevercore this is straight up thrashy boston HC. these guys influenced a whole lotta thrash metal bands (stuff im really into now)..and were a great band that also put boston back on the map. buy this.

5/21/2006 by Howard from Moonachie, NJ Rating:
good shit. nasty, gnarled, distored hardcore like it should be. not all of this clean, metalcore bullshit. i wish this was longer!!!!

4/5/2006 by Patrick from Milltown, NJ Rating:
This cd is amazing . it's very fast and the drummer is insane ! This band along with the rest of the 80's hardcore bands from boston were really over looked and I think that people need to listen to boston hardcore more . the only reason this song got 4 stars is because song like lif the crtain are boring .

11/18/2005 by Wali from Irvine, CA Rating:
Jerry's Kids is straight up old school hardcore. Fast songs, with a couple slow heavy songs. Boston hardcore is one of my favorite areas of old school hardcore so i picked this up, and it's fucking bomb. get it if you are really into boston hardcore. or if your just really into old hardcore. GET THIS NOW!

8/3/2005 by Ryan from Elk Grove, CA Rating:
Not as good as some of the other Boston HC bands (Negative FX, DYS, SSD etc..) but give it some time and it will grow on you if you're a die-hard HC punk fanatic.

4/12/2005 by Andrew from Manchester, United Kingdom Rating:
I first heard this band on the Boston Not LA comp, they have some great tracks on that so you should get that too. Anyways this album is good, takes some listening to cos at first i didnt think it was that special not my favourite band from the early boston scene (theyre no DYS) but its still essential I like how the slow tracks dont sound all ploddy and are actually good. Raise the curtain is the first slow one on the album and is decent and Lost is the other one, Lost is one of the best tracks on the whole album. the general feel of the album is a wall of sound with over the top drumming which is great but....i get the feeling they were better live. Lyrics deal with alienation, with society - on a personal more than political level, its definately a youthful album which i can really relate to. Highlight tracks are I dont belong, Tear It Up, Crucify Me, Vietnam Syndrome, Lost, and the title track. Quite a few eh, I think with this review ive come off as more negative towards it than i actually am, its actually really good just not as good as i thought it'd be.
