| I mostly bought this CD because of the Forus part, which I also think is the best part of this CD. Straightforward, fast and super-technical Melodic Hardcore, just as I adore. The Hero of our time and Play Attenchon songs are really great, too, especially "Back to Square One" is a great rocking song. The Actionmen part is surely the oddest one on this CD, I expected to hear fast and poppy skatepunk of this band, too, but I realized, that they are kind of different than the other three bands on there. I don't exactly know what kind of influences I hear in there music, but it's really awesome to listen to, especially "Perinos" which has a weird pop-part with Japanese (or something like that) lyrics in it. So, for me this CD one the one hand had solid, aweseome, technical-fast skatepunk, exactly that kind I seeked when buying this, and on the other hand the "Actionmen" songs were a huge discovery! Great! |
