| This is an ok CD. This CD is AFI's turning point from being a punk band to what they are now. Still pretty good but there are alot of songs i just skip everytime i play the CD. |

| Perhaps the first AFI album when they really transformed from their comical songs ("High School Football Hero," etc) to a serious band with truly meaningful lyrics. Albums has classics "A Single Second" and "Third Season," though there are others songs like "Let It Be Broke," which have lyrics that cut deep. This is probably my second favorite album behind Black Sails in the Sunset, but this is good old fast punk shining with the lyrics of a former UC-Berkeley guy, Davey Havok. If you're into their last two albums, you might not be a fan. For all of the punks out there, this is Horror Punk at its best. |

| Great CD. As stated before, "A Single Second" is one of the most powerful songs AFI has put out so far (one of their best if you ask me). This album is so different than the rest. If you're into the new AFI you won't probably enjoy this as you should, but you should give it a try. I like almost every song on the CD, except for one or two whose names I won't utter in this review.
Buy this, it's a duty. |

| This AFI album is kinda like a mix between the new and old styles of AFI. It has the deeper lyrics that their newer material has, but has that hardcore sound like their older music. I highly recommend this album for anyone who even slightly likes AFI. Listen to this and you will LOVE them! |

| This is a very good CD. I am a hardcore AFI fan. This is not one of their best CD's in my opinion but it is still excellent. The best song on this album is of course "Third Season". Get this if you are really into AFI. |

| "Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes" is a very good third album from AFI. While not as good as "Art of Drowning" of even "Sing The Sorrow", it delivers a rawness that no other AFI album has. It's angry hardcore and that's how I like it. |

| ok,first of all dont listen to these fags who say its alright and its not as good as art of drowning but better then black sails in the sunset, this is THE best afi cd besides answer that...,very proud of ya,and black sails.art of drowning isnt bad but thats when they started getting all soft.If you first discovered afi by sing the sorrow then fuck off, this shit is way too hard for you posers this is afi at its best. It is a tragedy how afi have got so soft and are playing on mtv and the radio. So, overall if your a real punk who listens to stuff like a.g.t,unseen,career soldiers, virus youll probably like this and the two previous albums. If your a faggot emo or poppunk kid go get sing the sorrow this aint for you! |
