Smart shit! Get it, absorb it, learn from it, appreciate it! A lot of people claim to like Crass but don't actually own the records. This is real punk rock. Not only did Crass have the creativity and the drive, but they backed up all of their ethical and political stances to boot.

Vinyl is the way to hear Crass. Eve Libertine has been a hero of mine for some time, and this is one of my favorite recordings. Pick this up if you're into classic anarcho-punk and love female vocalists.

Classic Punk record all female vox. Great lyrics about feminism and confusion all real issues. My favorite song on this record is probably "poison in a pretty pill" or "burkatex bride". i would buy any crass record for a first record because they are all great real anarcho punk. This album isnt as political as all the rest but that shows you they are really open minded and real people not just putting on some bullshit attitude like anti flag or rancid.

Okay, this is one of Crass's best records. The album features wonderful lyrics and vocals from the female artists of the group; eve libertine and joy devrive.(steve ignorant isnt in this one) The lyrics are very well thought out and written. One of my favorite songs on this album, and of crass, has to be "where next Columbus". The lyrics are so well written and meaningful. "systematic death", "bata motel", and berterex bribe" are also very good songs. Also included is the hillarious secret song "our wedding", which joy did and sent to a mainstream girls magazine in England (an equivalent to seventeen or cosmopolitan here)as a joke. They put the song out in one of their magazines on a flexi, without realizing the song was made to mock their bullshit ideas of marrage and perfection. I suggest this album for those of you who enjoy listening to the songs of Crass done by eve and joy, and those of you who are interested in political music.
