I bought this CD mainly for the Speedbuggy songs but ended up liking the Black Monday portion more. The singer of Black Monday has a way of making the listener feel some of the pain that he's singing about. That is always a sign of something good. Black Monday is a little darker edged then the stuff by Speedbuggy doesn't seem as serious but it doesn't mean its bad. Actually the whole CD is a good listen and comes highly recommended to fans of either of these bands or Los Infernos, The Bleeders, Tiger Army, Supersuckers, and Social Distortion. Its roots rock punk but not rockabilly. I really dug the cover of Truck Drivin'Man and Guns and Lightning by SB and Wrapped in Red and the untitled song by Black Monday. Also, SB does a cover of Take this Job and shove it and BM does Runaway. Runaway has almost been done to death, but its good here.
