| I picked up this cd since one of my friends said it was pretty good. I am a fan of some songs from the 50s and was excited to recieve it . The minute I put the cd in my player it was excellent. Jerry Only does a fantastic job singing. Marky Ramone is fantastic on the drums and Dez is a very talented guitarist. The best songs on the cd are definetly "Diana" and "This Magic Moment" for me. There are only a few problems with the cd. First off since the only real Misfit left is Jerry Only you can't really call it a Misfits record. Secondly, the albums is a little short with only ten songs. Lastly, only nine of the ten songs are any good since the last song "You Belong to Me" is absolutly terrible. All in all though I really liked this cd and most people will too...just so long as you don't listen to track ten. |

| This is a pretty sweet cd. really short though! and jerry only is the....ONLY (bahahahaha!!!) real misfit in the misfits. if you can get past that this is an awesome cd. magic moment and monster mash are awesome! I thought some of the songs could have been switched with some real old rock and roll but that's just me. I still listen to this cd a lot |

| Well, well, well Jerry’s dream finally came true and hell does it rock!! This amazing CD of covers from the 50’s is just an incredible addition to any Misfits fan. Every song sung by Jerry, whoa… Fiends, Jerry should be a horror fiction storyteller cuz his voice is just spectacular (as I have always though anyway). Then we have that legend of the 80’s punk band Black Flag on guitar Dez Cadena and of the legendary Ramones is Marky just a horror-rocking trio. Even with special guests Ronnie Spector, Jimmy Destri and John Cofiero give the CD more punch. Jerry is very devoted to his dream that is his way of living and I identify with him, his vision, his actions, his way to envisage what he desires sure is inspiring as well as influential: no wonder why so many bands’ influence is The Misfits. All songs are well covered and, although, is not the usual Misfits routine of talking about horror-stuff, look at it this way, is a revival from the past (a blast from the past if you will), songs that were written by great songwriters like the late Ritchie Valens, God rest his soul. I love all songs and mostly sung by a Misfit it even makes it better. The additional bonus DVD is also great. It has Jerry and crew at the Vermont U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships at Stratton Mountain live singing couple of the songs from the CD. And as well, bonus material with the atom-age vampires from Osaka, Japan: Balzac just another great band. Fiends, be on the look out for Balzac’s new CD from Misfits Records, and yeah, buy some of their CDs cuz they are just amazing. Man, how I wish that the Misfits are back at full.
This one is a definite buy, worth each penny!

| good CD but not as good as the old misfits in the days where Danzig sang for them.. Jerry Only has a pretty high-pitched voice especially in the DVD (this is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars)
still a misfits collector's item so get it now |

| I didn't know what to expect when I got this cd but I was suprised when I listened. Its actually pretty good and Jerry Only definatley holds his own on vocals. Yes its not the original misfits but its still cool. I just saw the misfits play about a month ago and it was the best show I have ever been too!!! Its also cool that it came with a free dvd which also has balzac footage. You should also definatley check out balzac. |

| Good. Not too shabby at all really. I don't see the new misfits anything like the old misfits. They are 2 completely different bands, but i like both. This isn't the best NEW misfits release, but its cool, all old cover songs, its interesting and kind of like me first and the gimme gimmes meets boris karloff. A good buy and comes with a dvd. The dvd is pretty cool, but the sound quality can be kind of crappy at times, but not bad. A good buy. |

| Great cover album except: 1.Too short 2.Whats up with the weird phased echo on jerry's voice? It drives me nuts. He has a great voice and does not need it. 3. Too short....how long did it take them to record this again? Come on 2 more songs at least?......damm
Phil specters vocals scared the hell out of me. They fit perfectly with the whole campy/horror 50's theme.
The DVD is great, snow and the Misfits........enough said.
All we need now is the reunion with Glen. come on it could happen. -sigh- |
