Adicts really kicked in gear wit this one. wooo weee. Something different bout them than most english bands and makes them stand out too. This album was really good and the extra bonus songs are good too, especially the ramones cover. No filler here, well maybe.....naaa

This is my favorite CD by the Adicts. Just some good old punk rock to drown out all this emo shit you hear on the radio. My favorite would have to be Joker in the Pack, Johnny was a soldier, and Chinese Takeaway. Oh and all the bonus tracks are great. Definitely get this for some good ol' UK punk.

Alright,I have put off reviewing this cd long enough. Now you see,I havent made a bad(or even decent) purchase on interpunk. Everything I bought I gave 5 stars because the cds were all so great. This one....Is a different story. I got it in the mail, took a listened and thought to myself, "Meh,its ok,nothing great". And put it away.. Maybe a week or 2 later,I put it in again and said "Its better than last time". Last night I popped it in and said "Wow,this record is the shit". 5 fat stars for this one. I just love this record. Great tempo for the songs and poppy hooks and great backup vocals. Plus,it comes with some bonus tracks including a totaly kick ass version of "I Wanna Be Sedated",which is worth the money alone. My favorite songs on this record would have to be "Johnny Was a Soilder","Chinese Takeway","Joker in the Pack" and "How Sad"(Note I didnt say my favorite bonus tracks). Great record and all punk rockers should have it.

If you are tired of bands that bitch about politics and whine about ex-girlfriends(or possibly boyfriends), then you should check out this classic record. It's filled with songs that are fun, catchy, and aggresive. Not to mention, it's a re-release with great bonus tracks such as "Who Spilt My Beer" and "Too Young". The Adicts are a great band with simple songs. If you like this record check out the UK Subs and The Undertones.

The Adicts, to this day, carry on the spirit and sound of true punk music. The Sound of Music can easily be classified as a classic punk album. It's a shame the Adicts never get the credit they deserve, while not as innovative as many of their peers, they were true to punk music and the attitude of punk rock when many bands would abandon the sound for a sound that would be far more profitable (who many bands do you that have had the same line up and played the same style of music for well over twenty years?!?!)

If you need to get back to the roots of good punk, punk right where it belongs, then this is the CD to start with. The Adicts are what I think of when I think of when people mention real punk rock, The Clash were great yeah, but this is the stuff that just took it all away. You will not regret a single minute that you spend listening to this compact disc. The only original droog-punks, and the only good ones. Pick this up and enjoy for the rest of your lifetime.
