Probably best summed-up by Alternative Press's recent "100 Bands You Need To Know in 2003" issue, THE RED HOT VALENTINES play "Moog-induced power pop with three-part harmonies and songs so catchy they should be illegal". Summer Fling is THE RED HOT VALENTINES' second album, recorded and produced by Mark Rubel (Hum, Shiner) and mixed with Ken Sluiter (OK Go, Wilco). With a strong Midwest following, and a charged live show, the band has earned their place as one of today's most promising indie acts.

Yeah its an ok cd really..nothing that really grabs me on it. I honestly thought it would be more rockin' but it kinda stays in the same vibe all the way through the cd. Would love to see them just kick out the distortion and turn up the moog's cus you know thats what they are itching to do.
