They say hardcore music comes around in cycles; well it's coming back again! Plain and simple, honest and brutal, hardcore is back. In your face, point your middle finger, walk on peoples heads hardcore the way we like it. The Curse is here to stay! Hailing from the city of brotherly love, these four Philadelphia natives are fresh on the scene and need no comparison. This record will redefine whatever you think punk is. The Curse has already shared the stage with the likes of: Sick Of It All, Avail, Hot Water Music, Kill Your Idols, Strike Anywhere, and Trial By Fire. The Curse features current members of Paint It Black (Founding members from Kid Dynamite, Good Riddance, and Lifetime) and former members of Step Ahead and Kill The Man Who Questions.

Not what I was expecting, but still very clever writting. Good EP. Like the description says you got Pitch Black dudes and other people on that punk rock family tree, so it's a decent indication of what this EP sounds like. I wish it was a little cheaper, since it's an EP.

I'll admit this is my first time getting into The Curse. I dont know what took so long but all thats needed to be said is that Dave Hause is in it, which means it can't be bad, that d00ds the shit. It reminds me of the loved ones with a more hardcore feel to it. I do however like the loved ones better. But if your a fan of Kid Dynamite or Loved Ones, this is a must. It only gets 4 stars tho because it is only an ep.

| Hellbent Records! The Curse! whatever, anything from Philly pretty much kicks ass! I have two tiny complaints though, ..... No other releases, and way too short (thats why it gets a 4)

Best EP I've heard with the exception of The Falcon EP. Dave Hause leaves his mark on yet another great band. I wish he would have spent more time making a full length for this band instead of forming The Loved Ones, but I guess that's how it goes sometimes.

Good CD, not great. I figured I'd get it because it sounded better than most of the hardcore out there, but after awhile it just got old. I still listen to every once in awhile, but not often.

A great ep. Fish dont fry is my favorite, but every song is great. If you like this you might like trial by fire and sixgun radio. I cant wait for a full legth

| One of the best CDs I have ever purchased. From start to finish this EP will rock your ass off. Although there are only 6 tracks on this CD there is so much energy and intensity that you hardly notice how short it is. These guys have that great Philly sound that bands like PAINT IT BLACK and KID DYNAMITE made popular. It is a shame they did not stay together long enough to release a full-length.
R.I.P. Curse.

Yeah this cd totally rules. Fast and straightforward, this band had potential written all over it. Too bad they split up. Only the good die young, though. Dave Hause, the guitarist/vocalist from the Curse, went on to form another Philly band (Paint It Black) which also rules, with none other than Dr. Dan Yemin. This is definitely a must for fans of Kid Dynamite, Trial By Fire and Paint It Black.

yes, this is awesome stuff. they sound a lot like trial by fire, but then the vocals have a dropkick murphys sound...buy this.

i thought this was a pretty decent debut. i heard they broke up and if its true, that sucks. i would've liked to see them, their songs seem like they'd be good live. if you like kid dynamite or the bouncing souls, then these dewdz will be RIGHT up your alley!! kirstie alley that is!!
