Twenty2 formed in early 1997 and resides in Quebec, Canada. Since day one, they have been rocking stages all over Canada with their unique skate-style of punk rock. Months after their first performance, they were getting asked to open for top national acts such as Blink 182, Good Riddance, AFI, No Use For a Name, Diesel Boy and more. The band decided to record an EP to help get their name out, so they released an EP titled “Winter Sucks”, in February of 1998. After it’s release, they quickly grew in popularity and were approach by a number of independent record labels looking to release them. Soon after, they record their first full-length for Springman Records out of California, entitled “Porn Rock”. This album was recorded and produced by Joe D of Nitro Records hit band Jugg’s Revenge. In November of 2000, they released an incredible 8 song EP called “Keepin Busy” on Lameass Recordz out of Canada. Springman also licensed the record for US distribution. Months after its release, they were asked to go out on tour with a few national acts, including Propagndhi, Cigar & X-Large, which they desperately accepted. Twenty2 is back with a new full-length that will rock their fans world! This album contains 15 well produced tracks of emotion, blended into a unique form of punk that will leave Twenty2 noticed, while other melodic punk bands fade away. Some might call them a skate-punk band, some might call them pop-punk band, but whatever genre they are, it is tight and it must be heard!
