| My Career as A Jerk was a pretty decent viewing. This documentary covers Keith Morris in Black Flag and Greg Hetson in Redd Kross (or Red Cross) till it goes to Keith forming OFF! and Greg in Bad Religious. While the movie may seem dry and the topic of the history of the Circle Jerks rather uninteresting, it's still a pretty good showing of punk rock through the 80s and 90s. Some stand out people in the movie were Lucky Lehrer and Earl Liberty being interviewed and talking of their experience with the Jerks. Overall, I would only recommend this movie to Hardcore punk fans or Keith Morris fans. This movie is a great since it's not like most punk documentaries since My Career as a Jerk doesn't shove the term "anarchy" in it and talks about the roots of Keith Morris. |
