| This is very much like Tom Waits but not half as cool. Yes it has the grittiness of Waits but not the heart and soul. One cool thing is the album is a misprint where the song 1 listed the record plays song two 1st then song one. Its one of those albums you must pick and choose the songs ya like. I do admire that Peters is trying something else even though all he really contributes is vocals. I have found most of Peters work to be very mediocre but mostly I have only heard US BOMBS. I do find it neat there is only 500 pressed but I dont think it will be a future goldmine record for there is no surge of sales. If ya love Peters then you will probably like this as long as you are opened minded to other music styles. But most punk rockers are very close minded. I know I will catch hell for that but hey one cant deny the truth. |
