| Nothington - More Than Obvious |
Nothington is a band that already stands out from their punk peers because they boast a tasteful tinge of American Rock and a Western aesthetic. Imagine a young, gruff Social Distortion with whiskey-fueled anthems about loneliness and triumph. It makes perfect sense then that the SF band would eventually try an acoustic, stripped-down approach to their rootsy punk rock, and “More Than Obvious” is exactly that. This 4-song 7”/6-song digital EP sheds a new light on what these guys are capable of and proves their songs and melodies are great with or without amplified guitars.

| Nothington is back , this time with even more passion mixed in the aggression of the vox, considering the whole thing is acoustic.. Jay always has a way of telling stories and singing in the way that you're living them, More than Obvious, is an amazing addition to their discography, and their first on Redscare which alone lets you know how good this is. |
