Off With Their Heads - In Desolation
Minneapolis punk band Off With Their Heads are well on
their way to carving out their own punk rock story with
their modern take on anthemic four-to-the-floor rock and
roll. In the gritty tradition of bands like the Bronx and
Against Me, Off With Their Heads write songs that invite
fist-pumping singalongs. For their Epitaph debut In
Desolation, Off With Their Heads have recorded a hookfilled
masterpiece, a record that puts the punk back in
punk rock.

I'm always so happy when i hear a great punk band on Epitaph. And it seems that lately they've been going back to what made them such a great label from the start. Aggressive Melodic-Punk at it's finest.

This is a good album. I had actually never heard of these guys before they got signed on Epitaph but I'm really glad I did!

Off With Their Heads come through with their Epitaph Records debut! First off, big applause for Brett Gurewitz/Epitaph crew for signing bands like OFWTH and Social Distortion. I was just about to write off Epitaph all together. Now OWTH have delivered an awesome record. I have to believe these songs were written while these guys were on tour promoting their last ablum "From the Bottom". It sounds like Ryan and co. wanted to get this out right away. There seems to be a theme to the album detailing personal development and growth. If you loved their other albums/7"s, check this out!
