The Mean Jeans are the kids that live down the street that blare the Ramones and the Angry Samoans late at night while they are playing "Edward 40s Hands". They have 3 things in their refrigerator: ketchup, beer and slime.
The 13 garage pop tunes of Are You Serious harkens back to the Lookout! Records of the early ‘90s, when pop-punk meant snotty low-brow 3 chord goodness and not glossy soundtracks to mall strolls. Like any good Cretin’s soundtrack, the "songs about partying" vs. "songs about girls" ratio leans fully toward PBR fueled pogo punk.

| If you like punk rock, beer, weed, pizza, partying, or anythings associated then this will appeal to you. Simple no bullshit Ramones style punk that may lack in technical ability but more than makes up for with the spirit of rock & roll. Cover to cover record and they put on a helluva show too. I'M A MOTHERFUKKIN PAAAARRRRTTTTTYYYYY ANIMAL. |

| Sounds good,really more garage sound than riverdales though. I'd say Chinese telephones meets the marked men at a house show and formed a band this is how it would sound. They seem cool. Like the municipal waste of garage punk. Beers, bowls, chicks, pizza, smokes, and slime. |
