No gimmick. No image. No bullshit. The Truth Can Be Brutal. Whittled down from fifty songs, The Truth Can Be Brutal walks the line between the raw emotion of punk rock and classic rock's pop sensibility in a way very few have.

Wel it's a mix of Mark Lind's solo cd ans his stuff with the ducky boys. He writes so easily cathy songs. I prefer The Ducky Boys. It's a bid too soft for me sometimes. But hey, what bad cd had the Lind family released yet?

7/3/2008 by Alex from Melbourne, Australia Rating:
This album reinforces Mark Lind's creative ability to craft excellent tracks with heartfelt emotion and pride. Both lyrically and musically excellent. Songs still have the toughness of the street that is in Ducky Boys songs.

6/26/2008 by Scott from Shelton, CT Rating:
I hadn't heard the Unloved or seen them live when I pre-ordered the record, but I expected it to be awesome-basing it off the other bands that members of the band are/have been in. And what did I get when I got the CD?! Just what I thought, about a half hour of great, passionate songs that are easy to sing along with. The Unloved are able to mash together a classic rock kind of sound with the modern-day Boston punk sound, and they do it well! One of my favorite records so far in 2008 for sure!

6/24/2008 by Spencer from Euless, TX Rating:
Ok, if you like ducky boys or d.w. you will enjoy this. typical mark lind at his best. Not as good as No way Out or even Three Chords & the Truth, but still good. Nice to see him get back to what he's good at. Didn't care for his solo stuff, but god damn this guy can write some good street rock/punk. Peace out
