I had high hopes for this cd before it came out and I was rather disappointed after listening to it. While I will admit there are some very catchy tunes on here, the album is way too overproduced. Its hard for me to get by that. On every song there is double and probably even triple tracked vocals. That kind of thing is cool on a few songs during the chorus, but during almost every part of every song? There is no need to do that. He sounds great without it. I waited a while to review it to see if the album would grow on me. There are a few songs that are worth listening to... "Vicious Cirlce" is probably my favorite. Detox is a little poppy for my taste, but it's catchy as hell. The same goes for many of the others. The songs themselves are not bad, but its way too over done. I would recommend this to hardcore Millencolin fans, but if you dislike cds that are overproduced, then this will probably piss you off. I think it is safe to say they will never create another cd as great as "Life on a Plate" or "Pennybridge Pioneers".

I did not like this. I think it's cool that Millencolin is still putting out music in 2008, but I have not been able to get into anything of theirs since "Pennybridge Pioneers". It's like the fire power is gone from their guitars and now they are trying to write clever 'rock' songs. I miss their "Swedish Punk Rock Mayhem Sound" they were notorious for about ten years ago. So get "Life on A Plate", "For Monkeys" & "Penny Bridge Pioneers". If you are a hardcore fan you might like this??? Not me though!

Although this isn't the Millencolin that I first got into 5 years ago, I must say this album is impressive. I think this album makes up for Kingwood (which is my least favorite) and picks up where Home from Home left off. You can tell the band is changing and has grown up a lot since their last release. It sounds like Nikola has taken aspects from his solo work and incorporated it within this album. He sings a little bit slower sometimes and his words come out a lot clearer. I have not stopped listening to this since I got it in the mail, this CD is one of my favorite from the band. My favorite tracks are Detox, Done is Done, Danger for Stranger, and Saved by Hell. Even though all the rest are good too!
