Pennywise - Reason To Believe
Pennywise takes their formula from their 8 previous records and applies it to this realease and label - fast, hard-hitting melodic punk with a rough sound and poignant vocals. You can't go wrong here, folks.
The LP version is a limited (to 2500) double vinyl masterpiece with 2 bonus tracks not available on the CD!

This is Pennywise. You should know exactly what you're getting. They stick to one thing, but it works for them. I would say this CD is pretty good. It's better than their last effort, "The Fuse". It's got a good amount of fast songs, which is what Pennywise does best. Pennywise have got a few aces up their sleeve in this one. These would be a few harmonized guitar riffs and a metal song, but the changes aren't enough to change the long-standing Pennywise attitude. It's not their best CD, but it's not their worst, however, I would recommend it to anyone into melodic skate-punk.

This is the usual Pennywise kinda stuff. Nothing really special or different. It is a decent cd. It isn't terrible or anything. They have been following pretty much the same formula for as long as they have been making music. While this cd doesn't live up to "Unknown Road", "About Time" or "Full Circle" it is still a pretty good cd. The second half of the disc is really good. The first half I feel is a little lacking. I was surprised when I saw it was released on Myspace records. What the hell is up with that? Seems weird they would leave epitaph. Epitaph needs to keep its good bands. Lately they have been signing nothing but crap to the label.

Big dissapointment for me! First, they left Epitaph for MySpace.... Secundo, All the songs are not good as their previous effort. Don't get me wrong, this one is good, but not good as their latest release. So I give 3 stars...
