2/28/2008 by Peter from Woonsocket, RI Rating:
I was waiting to review this in hopes that it would grow on me a little bit, but it hasnt. I have listened to The Queers since about 1987 when I discovered them by accident. The bands that were chosen for this compilation are good in their own right but nobody plays The Queers as good as The Queers do. Overrated disc.

2/7/2008 by Bill from Kennesaw, GA Rating:
Being that tribute albums are generally uneven by nature, this album is pretty good. Usually the best moments of a tribute album are when a band doesn't just replicate the original arrangement but tries to do something fresh with the song. The main problem with this respectable approach is that you can get less than favorable results which is certainly the case here.

Most of the covers are passable, some of them flat out suck (like "I Hate Everything", "You're Tripping", "Hi Mom It's Me",) and some of them are GREAT (particularly "Love Me", "This Place Sucks", "Homo", "Goodbye California", "Boobarella", "Fuck The World", and "Teenage Gluesniffer").

This album is recommended but you would be better suited picking up all of the Asian Man reissues first.
