First of all, it's pronounced ‘decoy'. Now that we've got that cleared up, let's get down to brass tacks about Sacramento's latest hardcore punk proteges: DCOi! came up as young kids in the Northern California punk scene. They formed the band to be part of it all, playing their first show with Whiskey Rebels and Pressure Point. Now they're drawing out their own legion of young kids, the next generation of pissed off youth. They've shared the stage with 7 Seconds, Circle Jerks, Monster Squad, Allegiance, Leftover Crack and pretty much every other good punk & hardcore band in Northern California. They tour all the time, make their own wildly offensive merch and piss on any lines that still separate the hardcore scene from the punk scene. It doesn't matter if you wear hi-tops and listen to Reagan Youth, or sport a basketball jersey and bump Sick Of It All: DCOi! is going to be the band for you. And when you listen to Fall Back Plan, it's going to feel like somebody is s haking you violently for about 20 minutes.
