Rising from the ashes of READ PALMS (who
disbanded late spring of 2003) the BLESSED are a
four-headed rock'n'roll implosion from the
stagnant swamp known as Wilmington, North
Carolina. Two tracks described as "a ray of
sunshine falling on both Zombies and Stooges,
the Shangri-las in drag singing Son House songs
with Leonard Cohen and Otis Redding, a third eye
dripping with rotten Cream and the cherry red
blood of Groundhogs." Dag. Dag, indeed.
