Action Design - Into A Sound
Action Design

Into A Sound

(Tsunami Bomb, Pipedown, Rum Diary)

PopSmear PSR0034

Released on September 11, 2007

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

Featuring Emily of Tsunami Bomb with a totally refreshed sound. Action Design combines Emily's dynamic vocals stylings over pulsing, sometimes frantic, drums and bass and colors with textural keys and guitars. If you liked Tsunami Bomb, you'll love her new direction. More importantly, if you didn't like Tsunami Bomb, you won't recognize her here and will fall in love with this new band. Think, Blondie meets Bloc Party! Great high energy music.

I have heard and seen people say that if you like Tsunami Bomb that you will like this cd and I dont think that's true.Tsunami Bomb was known for their raw energy and fast melodic lyrics where as this cd goes in a more artistic direction.I would say if you are a fan of Emily Whitehursts voice and a more electronic rock sound then this is right up your alley. All and all this is a great first album but it is a little short however this next album looks and sounds like it will be amazing.

action design is great! I will be eagerly awaiting another album from this band. super good vocals and rad pop riffs suck you in and hold you till the end. alittle short though.

10/15/2007 by Matthew from Niceville, FL Rating:
I bought this cd because my band is going on tour with The Action Design in November and I wanted to know exactly what they sounded like.. and let me tell you, This EP is miles beyond the Tsunami Bomb stuff. the music has 100X the talent and structure and the songs are stuck in my head all the time. I am more than excited about seeing what else this band will have to offer.
