| Awesome metal/hardcore with really bullshit lyrics. "Were always half of what we seem. Made to believe this picture dream. I have yet to heear you say...I love that jacket...It brings out your personality". Huh/ What kind of crap is that? The lyrics are either just really uninspired or astonishingly cheesy in a pretentious coffeehouse poet kind of way. Get the CD and just rock out and dont bother reading the lyrics. Im the kind of guy where I read the lyrics before I even listen to the CD typically. To me music is all about conveying a message and having an emotional attachment. This CD sounds alot like Darkest Hour or Nora or Himsa or even Remembering Never or Misery Signals but the lyrics are just God awful. Theyre a technically sound band with really good songs but the lyrics just kill any sort of attachment to the music. Im tossed on it.....I recommend it if you just want to hear some good music but if youre looking for some meaning behind the sound then move on to one of the bands I listed above |
