| La Plebe - Hasta La Muerte |
LA PLEBE are a special group. Aside from playing countless packed shows, they are responsible for founding an especially promising Latino punk rock scene that has recently arisen from SF's Mission District. But LA PLEBE make it a point not to be pigeonholed as they want to be known primarily for their rambunctious songs. They then went into Motor Studios and cranked out a record under the direction of producer Bill Gould (founding member of Faith No More, Brujeria), and the result is their breakthrough LP, "Hasta La Muerte!". They tell me that means "'Til Death!", but it could mean "Our Label Sucks!" for all I know.

| >...Y por primera vez los carnales de La Plebe sacan su primer Full Length (despues de 3 chingones ep's) bajo la batuta del Billy Gould....este disco esta bien pitudo...guitarras encabronadas,gritos desgarrantes y trompetas pachangueras en ocasiones me recuerda a Casualties hechos bolas con los Voodoo Glow Skulls...haste un favor y compra este disco esta a toda madre...Highlights: Reject/Refuse(yeah like Sepultura),Mi Tierra,Cerdos Al Marchar, mta madre pues la neta todas ese!!!! Plebe Por Vida!!! |
